Dr. Daniel Kraft is a Stanford and Harvard trained physician-scientist and entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience in clinical practice, biomedical research and healthcare innovation. Dr, Kraft was a keynote speaker at the IGHPE 2018 meeting in Kuala Lumpur, and in this interview, recorded during the lead-up to the meeting, he describes his work at Singularity University, super-convergences of technologies, and the future of health and medicine. Dr. Kraft has served as Faculty Chair for Medicine & Neuroscience at Singularity University since its inception; he founded – and is chair of – Exponential Medicine, a program that explores rapidly developing technologies and their potential in biomedicine and healthcare.
Dr. Kraft is a graduate of Brown University, Stanford Medical School and completed his residency at the Massachusetts General Hospital. He has served on faculty at Stanford and UCSF. He founded RegenMed Systems, holds multiple patents related to digital health, medical device, immunology and stem cells He is an Aspen Institute Health Innovator Fellow, and a Kauffman Fellow.
